Pumpkin Spice, Our Fall Favorite Is Here!

Shayna, Vive creator here. I wanted to tell you guys about how I created our Pumpkin Spice Superfood Cookie Bites, my inspiration, and why it's so special! Here it goes.

For me, nothing marks the start of fall like the PSL coming back to the coffee houses. Slowly the weather starts to cool down, school is back in session and you're swapping dresses and sandals for sweaters and scarves. The leaves are changing colors and you end your nights watching Netflix and coziness.

I wanted to encapsulate all of these feelings in our Pumpkin Spice Superfood Cookie Bites. When you first open the bag, warm spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and cardamon greet you with the smell of the holidays. Our hearty and healthy gluten free oats provide a backbone for our Pumpkin Spice Bites and a pinch of pink Himalayan salt and sweetness from coconut sugar bring everything together. I dare you to tell me these Bites are not the chewy, portable version of a pumpkin pie!

Although I wish I could drink a Pumpkin Spice Latte or have a slice of Pumpkin Pie every day, the sheer amount of sugar would make me crash. And I try not to think about all the other ingredients in there that are so far from real food... but you've gotta live a little so you can't deprive yourself of it completely! Instead, when it's not a cheat day, I can still get the nostalgic fall flavors with these magical little morsels! 

I'm always looking for a way to balance my love of food (especially desserts) and my desire for wellness and I think I really hit the mark with this one. In fact, last year I had dozens of emails asking if we can just keep these year-round! I'm hoping these Bites help you celebrate the new season each time you bite into one :)
